The 8th August Open Show is open to ALL Riders. No registration or pre-qualification is required. Everyone is welcome
You can pre-enter or enter on the day and have the opportunity to qualify for the 9th August Championship Show
How do you qualify for the Summer Championships?
This is done by attending a relevant show and obtaining a free qualification card. If you are a competitor, you will find the dates below on this page, inside Equestrian Life Magazine and through the Riding Diary.

Registration
Registration costs £20.00. Registration allows you to enter both the 2015 Winter Championships and Summer Championships (with accompanying qualification card). It also gives you one FREE class for the Summer Championships and other benefits listed on the qualification card. To complete the registration form, CLICK HERE

Rules and Regulations
Competitors of the Equestrian Life Championship do not need to be affiliated or be members of any Society, but must be true Amateurs who do not make a full-time living from producing, training or competing. Combinations that have qualified or competed at HOYS or RIHS in 2015 or 2014 are not eligible to enter. This does NOT include SFAS classes.
Entry is for all qualified competitors with a valid 2015 Registration.
All persons entering, competing or otherwise being present at the show, are subject to the rules and regulations governing the Equestrian Life Championships.
Owners entering animals do so entirely at their own risk, and it is a condition of entry that no liability of any kind attaches itself to the promoters or organizers or venue in any respect whatsoever.
No Age limit on classes for ponies, ALTHOUGH Riders MUST be a suitable size and Weight for the pony they are riding.
Only qualified riders can enter the Championship classes
Judges will not ride in any classes
Spurs are not to be worn by riders 16 years and under or in M & M or Veteran classes
Show canes/whips are not to exceed 30”
Hats to the approved current BSI standard and chin straps fastened must be worn, with the exception of the Evening
Performance when bowlers and top hats may be worn, at the competitors’ discretion for those who are aged 18 & Over and have signed the disclaimer on the entry form
Boots, including over-reach boots are permitted in the jumping phase of any Working Hunter class. At no other time can a change of tack be permitted. All complaints are to be made in writing
Any complaints made via email or social media sites will be disregarded
Any ruling not covered that arises, the decision will be at the discretion of the show organisers
