Lincolnshire’s Sally Dunnett Shows Her Strength to Qualify for the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Championship
Lincolnshire rider Sally Dunnett produced a fine performance at the 101st Ashby Show in Leicestershire to win the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round.
All combinations that record three clear rounds, including a jump-off, go forward to next month’s British Showjumping National Championships at their new home in Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.and Dunnett, who is from Alford, flexed her competitive muscle with Hercules II, a 12 year-old grey gelding that she owns herself.

Their jump-off time of 43.24 seconds ensured top spot, while Doncaster’s Tracey Timms was second on Its Show Business, an 8 year-old bay mare owned by herself and Paul Manby. This combination took their place place in the top two with their treble clear in 44.06 seconds.
Third spot went to Derbyshire’s Mark Thompson, riding Double Dutch CKV, a 7 year-old bay mare owned by Tanina Rushton, following their third clear round in 44.59 seconds.
A total of ten combinations from this second round will now go forward to the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Championship Final.
