Charles Owen is pleased to announce that its brand, Airowear, has joined with British Showjumping in order to launch an exciting new body protector, the Hickstead.

The Hickstead, which is officially endorsed by the famous showjumping venue of the same name, is the first body protector to be styled specifically for showjumpers. Hickstead is well-known for raising the awareness of safety for showjumpers as well as supporting the sport, and Airowear is pleased to embody these values in their new body protector.

“The new Hickstead body protector perfectly combines safety with a design pleasing to the competitive needs of showjumpers,” said Charles Owen Managing Director, Roy Burek. “The Hickstead has been designed with a sophisticated fit and streamlined appearance while still incorporating all of the advanced safety and innovation for which Charles Owen and Airowear are known.”

Maria Clayton, Head of Communications at British Showjumping further commented “We are delighted that Airowear has chosen to align with British Showjumping as a launch partner for their new Hickstead Safety Vest. The Airowear name is already well respected within the equestrian market and I am sure that their partnership with us will assist to drive further awareness of the levels of safety their showjumping safety vest can offer whilst still allowing full mobility.”

The Hickstead will be officially unveiled at Olympia (16-22 December) on stands F2 and M21.
