Little Christmas Show
Bromley Farm, Peafields lane NrWortley,S35 7DE (5 minutes from J35a and 36 of the M1)
There will be no specific marks for turnout at this show, as long as you have made an effort to be smart and clean. (Unless you wish to…) do not worry about Plaiting, or if your grey is a bit yellow! Riders may wear warm jackets in the ring if it is very cold.

Class 1 Clear round Show Jumping for 1/2hr only, Last Entry 10.45am
Class 2 Novice Jumping Choice of Fence height Section A) 55cm or Section B) 65cm
Class 3 Small Open Jumping Choice of Fence Height Section A) 75cm or Section B) 85cm.
Class 4 Speed Jumping
Back Indoor Arena As soon as the SJ classes have finished Estimated Start Time 12.30pm We recommend you phone 07740 178790 for a timing update around 11am
Class 5 Novice/Youngstock Inhand (Novice = not to have won 3 x 1st place inhand)
Class 6 Best Horse/Pony According to Type/Breed (in the event of a large entry this class will be split )
Class 7 Best Mare/Gelding Inhand will be split if entries allow.
Main Indoor Arena To start once the jumps have been cleared away. Estimated Start Time 12.45pm. Competitors who have a clash of classes may notify the stewards & swap between rings,
Class 8 Best Child Handler entrants to be 12yrs or Under
Class 9 Bonny Pony/Handsome Horse may be mounted or led in
Class 10 Condition Inhand
Class 11 Fancy Dress or Hairiest Horse/Pony mounted or inhand. If numbers allow class will be split with 2 lots of rosettes. There will be a short break after this class to allow any class 12 entrants to change out of fancy dress.
Class 12 Lead Rein Childs Pony (riders may also enter class 13 & 14 off leadrein if they wish)
Class 13 Walk Trot Showing (Estimated Start Time 1.45pm) ring mobile for update on day. Open to combinations who have not won 2 1sts in showing or dressage 9yrs and Under combinations not to have won 4 1sts of Lead rein. Young riders may have a helper in the ring if needed.
Class 14 Have a Go Showing Combination not to have won 3 1sts in showing, also open to any rider 9yrs and Under. There will be no group canter in this class
Class 15 Best Ridden Horse/Pony According To Breed or Type. In the event of a large entry this class will be split. (leadrein entrants welcome)
Class 16 Best Behaved Ridden Horse/Pony (judged solely on manners)
Class 17 Riding Club Horse/Pony To include 1 jump

General Rules & Conditions of Entry
1. Judges decision is final.
2. Any objections to be lodged within 15 minutes of class finishing with a fee of £20, if objection upheld the objection fee will be returned.
3. Hard hats to current BSI standard with chin strap must be worn in all ridden classes and in in-hand classes by handlers 16 years or under.
4. No animal under 4 years to compete in ridden classes.
5. Stallions will be allowed but must be handled or ridden by appropriate person
6. Whips – Except in clear round or equitation whips must not exceed 45cm,
7. Cruelty and anti social behavior will not to be tolerated any such person will be asked to leave.
8. Oganizers reserve the right to combine or cancel classes if entry does not exceed 3 riders.
9. No refunds for entry fees will be allowed.
10. The organizers/land owners accept no responsibility for any damage, loss or injury caused to any person, animal or property. You are advised to have your own insurance.
Ridden showing classes: At this level martingales and grass reins… may be worn if safety is an issue without them. At the decision of the judge riders may be placed down for using them but not excluded from competing.
If entry exceeds 4 horses and 4 ponies separate awards will be given. 3 Refusals will incur elimination except in clear round. For whips see rule 6, (spurs are allowed). Class 2 & 3 will be run as a 2 phase event meaning all those that jump clear will then proceed on to their timed jump off round. (this will save riders going backwards and forwards to vehicles/warm up and help this winter show to finish earlier) if you have any questions please ask on the day or phone 07740 178790
