Recognising the achievements of its members in producing horses that go on to enjoy top level success in racing, the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association (TBA) has announced that it’s ‘Breeder of the Month Award’ is now to be generously supported by TRM, the internationally renowned Irish manufacturer of an acclaimed range of equine nutritional supplements.
TRM, based in Co. Kildare, enjoys a good relationship with many members of the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association and the company sees what is known as the ‘TBA Breeder of the Month Award’ as a very relevant opportunity to give international recognition to some of its most successful customers.
The company’s Vice President Europe, North America Tom Barrett confirmed, “We are delighted to be associated with this prestigious award, as it recognises the commitment of so many members of the TBA, who year in, year out, endeavour to breed a top class winner.”
TRM is to support the Breeder of the Month Award for a year, during which the seasonal variation of the racing calendar is expected to see winter prominence of jump breeders, with turf or flat breeders enjoying the summer limelight.
Each Breeder of the Month, who will be selected by the TBA, will win a framed copy of the feature article commemorating their achievement, together with a supply of TRM Calphormin and a bottle of premium Irish whisky.
For TBA Chief Executive Louise Kemble, this Award is a way of acknowledging the value of the breeders’ input, which in turn is an important element of TBA membership. Louise commented “The TBA is delighted that TRM have agreed to sponsor this award and in turn recognises the achievements of breeders within the racing industry.
