The meet was kindly hosted by Mr and Mrs Fleming at the Dower House, Sarsgrove. Local landowners made The FBH most welcome securing a wonderful day over the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. Their hospitality and generosity is much appreciated by the Masters and supporters alike.
Under the guidance of Senior Master and Huntsman, Brian Temple, hounds were seen to run enthusiastically all day. Additional support was provided by whippers – in (son) Jamie Temple and Dave Pratley.
Some 90 riders, including several children, were ably guided by Master Anna Hall and second Field Master Elaine Colton. The variety of fences and grassland providing a superb treat for the mounted followers and there were the normal thrills and spills involved.
