harrymeade1As well as many fantastic celebrities, attractions, professionals, talks and demonstrations, we have over 80 fabulous trade stands full of shopping and services for your horse. We have 3 demonstration rings full on both days with celebrities demonstrating their individual skills on dressage, show jumping, eventing and day to day horsemanship. As well as our celebrities there will be entertaining horse spectacle’s including the fabulous Galloping Acrobatic team – a bit of fun for everybody and the famous Gizmo the Pony – Miraculous win for Gizmo the wonder pony – A dainty little pony with his own Facebook following and huge fan club won the hearts of the judges at Equifest to claim the overall RSPCA (England and Wales) Rescue Horse Championship. Gizmo was abused and left for dead but has achieved so much on his journey back to being a healthy pony.

Our professionals and celebrities will also be giving talks and answering questions about how they have succeeded in their fields in one of the two talks area’s. Attending the event will also be the very exciting Rocky Mountain Horse UK team from Hamilton Stud.

One of the only Rocky Mountain Horse Studs in the UK, they will be bringing with them breed Director and trainer Cassey Morris and International Horse Trainer Mike Hughes who will be giving some mind blowing demonstrations very rarely seen as well as some extremely interesting talks.

Also attending the show this year, the very talented Shady Horsmanship – Shadi was born in 1984; he loved horses and rode them from a very early age having bought his first horse at 12. The horse’s name was Adham; he was an Arab stallion with many behaviour problems. Shadi spent his time training this stallion and by the time he was 16 he had already ridden his horse in most of Israel, mainly in orchards. They will be at the show demonstrating how to better the communication between horse and rider to help achieve your goals and also dressage using horsemanship.

CELEBRITIES AND PROFESSIONALS ATTENDING THE EAST ANGLIAN EQUINE FAIR THIS YEAR ARE:

Come along and meet Harry Meade – Harry is one of the UK’s top Eventers and came 3rd in Badminton this year. Joining Harry is Philip Spivey – Top International Show Jumper – representing his country 8 times on British Nations Cup team. Philip’s career has gone from strength to strength, culminating in Grand Prix wins and representing his country 8 times on British Nations Cup teams including Aachen and Falsterbo super leagues, Hannah Biggs.

Top Dressage Rider and Trainer Team – Hannah has represented Great Britain on Junior, Young Rider and Senior Teams at the European Championships and Nations Cup shows. She has many Young Horse, Regional and National championship titles and has competed abroad at many top level international shows, up to 5* team competitions and World Cup events. These include Olympia CDI-W, Amsterdam CDI-W, Aachen CDIO5*, Weisbaden CDI4* and many other CDI3*’s around the world, from Hickstead to Sydney!,

Sharon Hunt – Team GB Medal Winner – Sharon is currently ranked among the top 50 eventers in the world. At the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Sharon aboard Tankers Town was part of the eventing team, which secured a bronze medal. Sharon began riding after she had a donkey ride on a beach whilst on holiday with her Grandparents, she currently competes on ten horses at all levels – including the World Equestrian Games, Burghley and Badminton – and travels throughout the UK and beyond to compete.

As well as our wonderful celebrities and professionals, we have some fantastic talks in our 2 talks area’s on subjects covering Monty Roberts, Parelli, Horse Behaviourists training and techniques, What to look for when buying a horse, Horse Dentistry, All about Worming Horses and Strangles, Physiotherapy, Reiki as well as many other classes on a wide range of horse care and training subjects.
