mounted games logoThis year 5 lucky riders have been selected to represent England in the Mounted Games World Team Championships in Kentucky, USA. If you have never heard of Mounted Games it is a fast and furious relay racing event on ponies that requires agility, precision, skill and courage from riders of all ages. This is an extremely exciting opportunity for everyone involved, but as MGA is still relatively young and growing there is currently no funding available to riders here in England.

This means the entry fee as well as travel, insurance and kit costs all have to be covered by the riders themselves. To ensure everyone that is selected reaches the funding goals required to travel I have set up a ‘Just Giving’ page to try and raise money to help towards costs. The terms of the page requires you to reach the target set of £500 within 30 days from activation date of 3rd May.

Every little will help reach that target! Please help England to have the opportunity to compete out in America as the first all girl team to defend the title and bring home the trophy.

Once in Kentucky the competition will be streamed live on the www.wtc2015.com website so you can watch the progress the girls make through all heats and hopefully into that Championship final to see exactly what your money has gone towards.
