FaBHSES logo 150x150 - Regional Premier Venue for Schools Equine National qualifying event this weekend!The mention of a gathering is turning heads across the regions Schools, as a local Schools equestrian society looks forward to an event which could help to inspire future budding Olympians.

The event is being run by a ‘Society’ called FaBHSES, which has had two previous years of success in organising a Schools equine events. The ‘Society’ is a collaboration of three Schools from across Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.

The event consists of NSEA National Championship qualifiers in two main activities, Showjumping and Dressage at Arena UK just off the A1 Grantham

An additional source of entertainment at the event is to view the ‘indoor clear round’ in the Premier Championship Arena.

Some of the proceeds from the clear round go towards Pablo’s horse sanctuary, a Melton Mowbray charity who help to ease the suffering of horses and ponies whose owners either could not or would not look after them!

There will be more than 25 Schools competing from as far South as Suffolk , North to York and West to Staffordshire, trying for the coveted two qualifying positions in each class, to go to the NSEA National Finals at Addington later this year.

Entrance is free to all spectators. The current entries received are from over 140 riders spanning more than 11 counties and prospects are for a breathtaking show.

Prizes will be awarded to first place riders including sashes, rosettes are awarded up to sixth place. 1st place prizes for individuals and teams have been donated by many supporters including British Showjumping; British Dressage and a number of Local and National businesses.

Army careers advisors will also be making an appearance to show pupils an alternate view of employment in the army working with animals.
A great day out is anticipated for Riders, Volunteers and Spectators alike!
