Pinks_Competition_Riding_Socks_web_plainCoolhorsesocks’ range of Competition Riding Socks has expanded further, and includes two new colourways for the 2012 season: Pinks and Earth.

“Our Competition Riding Socks have become really popular with competitive riders across the disciplines, but particularly eventers,” says Tim Riley from Coolhorsesocks. “People liked the fit, performance and style, but wanted to express who they were through their socks, as it’s one of the few areas that you can when wearing competition clothing. As lots of ladies like our socks, we were asked for a pink variety, hence Pinks, and Earth has more muted, natural tones, but the stripes make them really funky.”

Competition Riding Socks are packed with Coolhorsesocks features. They have micromesh venting across the top of the foot to allow feet to breathe, padded Coolmax feet for comfort and to wick moisture away from the foot, as well as ribbed arch and ankle supports and a contoured fit for perfect positioning. With the Competition Riding Socks range, finer gauge yarns are used, which reduce the thickness of the socks by some 48%. This allows socks to comfortably fit under tighter long riding boots and well fitting gaiters.

The Pinks colourway combines fuchsia and pale pink stripes up the length of the leg, with a dual colour foot, whereas Earth socks feature brown and beige stripes up the length of the leg, with a two tone foot in the same colours.

Competition Riding Socks are available in sizes 4-7 and 8-11, in single and triple packs. Prices start from £9.00.
