As the official brand from polo’s prestigious governing body, The Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA), whose 150 year heritage dates back to the very foundations of the sport of polo, the brand’s integrity challenges the legacy polo brands who have adopted the sport in the past, offering an original, authentic connection to the sport, and is using bold designs, the finest fabrics and attention to detail to strike a chord with a consumer who demands authenticity from the brands they choose.
The AW20 collection draws inspiration from the brand’s strong heritage in polo, with its roots dating back to the founding of the sport in 1875, and represents a hybrid of the tradition of polo and modern urban lifestyles.
Function and design are considered in everyday designs; luxe meets protection and performance, smooth and fluid fabrics tune in with geometrical angular shapes to create unique, sporty designs that bring a fresh, vibrant offer to the market.
Design Director, Bardhyl Latifi, whose previous works have included roles at designer power houses Burberry and Hugo Boss, comments: “There is increasingly a fluid evolution of urban style, activewear and traditional craftsmanship that are embracing diverse cultural influences in a more liberal and rebellious way, and we want to fully embrace that. Now, boundaries are blurred between luxe, performance and casual styles, and there is a demand for new garments to correspond with a new style of life.

With its new AW offer, Hurlingham Polo is upgrading casual to luxe, where something as basic as a sweat offers a superior product that outshines other manufacturers with a meilleur du luxe feel that is a cut above; shapes inspired from the horse and the saddle are found at the shoulders, mixed with technical, minimal and angular details and pockets creating a hybrid uber-modern look.
