Dubbed the horse world’s ‘extreme sport’, team chasing certainly provides thrills and spills as teams of three or four horses gallop and jump across country against the clock. A correctly fitted saddle is essential kit and so the Warwickshire Team Chase is proud to welcome Kevin McArdle a SMS Qualified Master Saddler and Registered Qualified Saddle Fitter to the ranks of their Class Sponsors.
A very experienced horse owner and rider for over 30 years Kevin is based in Oxfordshire and covers the Home Counties and West Midlands areas. His lifelong interest in horses helps him to work closely with veterinary surgeons and back specialists to resolve back problems, horse conformation anomalies and performance issues. Kevin specialises in dealing with difficult horse shapes and remedial saddle balancing and adjustments.
The Team Chase is generously supported by other local businesses including principal sponsor Savills, International Property Consultants, HW, Chartered Accountants, The Dallas Burston Polo Grounds at Southam, The Local Farriers and Guy Salmon, Stratford-upon-Avon.
Despite the unprecedented amount of rainfall this summer the organisers are confident of good going due to the old pastureland over which the courses run. There are Classes for all levels ranging from a Fun Class, Pairs Hunter Trial at a maximum of 2’9 to the flagship Intermediate Team Chase Class which attracts the National Teams.
There will also be Trade Stands, Licensed Bar and Catering from Local Suppliers. The Warwickshire Hunt Team Chase is an important fixture in the counties sporting and social calendar so don’t miss it! –
Sunday 9th September 2012 at Hill Farm, Watergall, Southam CV47 2XP (just off the A429 Southam to Banbury Road)
Admission will be just £5 per car for a great day out !
