Petplan Equine is keen to encourage as many budding dressage riders to take part in the Area Festivals as possible. To help you prepare for your first affiliated competition, international dressage rider Charlie Hutton is on hand to provide you with expert advice which you can take into your training and help maximise your marks ahead of your test.
In this video Charlie shares his advice on how to improve your transitions and balance. Working with Petplan Equine Ambassador, Charlotte Wadley, Charlie comments that you must assess your horse’s way of going before working on transitions. Make sure the horse is moving forward freely and his trot is active.
