JumpCross Young Rider Challenge 2012

THE JumpCross Young Rider Challenge was introduced at this year’s Lincoln JumpCross Eventer’s Challenge and was a huge success.

Building on this the 2012 Young Rider Challenge, supported by Lincoln products will see the introduction of local qualifying events leading up to a grand final with a £1,000 prize pujumpcrossrse.

The qualifiers are open to young riders and Pony Club members 16 years and under and will be an individual competition over the Intro level track, no higher than 2ft 6in. Qualifying rounds will take place at JumpCross sites across the country with four riders qualifying from each event. In order to take part riders will need to be a JumpCross member.

The 2012 final will take place on June 26, 2012 at the Lincoln JumpCross Eventer’s Challenge.

There will also be a second competition on the day where the young riders will be teamed with rider’s from the Eventers Challenge. The time from the Young Rider’s competition will be added to the professional rider’s score from the JumpCross Eventer’s Challenge to provide a team score. Lowest score wins with additional prizes being donated by Lincoln products

This exciting day will provide young aspiring riders with the chance to meet up with some of the country’s top event riders. JumpCross supporters include Oliver Townend, Piggy French, Jeanette Brakewell, and not forgetting this year’s winner Mark Kyle.
