Calido Boy AachenOn the 8th February Horsezone.co.uk will be hosting Master Classes with Shane Breen and two British Para riders Louise Hacker and Toby Bevins.

Horsezone.co.uk sponsored rider, International Irish Show Jumper Shane Breen will be running two private one to one sessions with the para riders ahead of their 2016 Para Show jumping season. The sessions will take place at Shane’s yard, Breen Equestrian, Hickstead. Shane Breen who is an integral member of the Irish Show Jumping team has had many coveted wins in his career including winning the Hickstead Speed Derby and the Hickstead Eventing Grand Prix.

Shane commented on the sessions, “I always enjoy working with young talented riders so I am looking forward to working with two such inspirational riders. Having never taught para riders before, I imagine it could be quite a challenge putting myself in their shoes to ensure my instruction works around their disabilities but I am hoping they will both be lenient on me!”

Louise Hacker and Toby Bevins were picked from a number of talented British Showjumping para riders. Both riders were selected due to winning individual para classes as part of the Horsezone.co.uk National Para Club Championship held at Stoneleigh in September. Both Toby and Louise will riding their new exciting horses in their Master Classes.

Toby’s Mother Annie Bevins says “we are delighted to be attending the Horsezone Master Class with Shane Breen. Shane is a fantastic and very experienced rider and we hope the session will provide Toby with some tips for improvement and areas to concentrate on ahead of the season.”

2016 will see Horsezone sponsor a number of Para Jumping events including two new classes held at Bolesworth and Bicton – further information on these classes will follow in the spring. Horsezone will also be holding Master Classes with some of their other sponsored riders such as Spencer Roe and Olympic Event rider Sharon Hunt later in the year.
