In 2011, HOYS hosted the Express Eventing final, however, this season’s first qualifier will not take place until November. The series will continue into 2013 and will have a new Formula One-style team format.
Horse of the Year Show, which will run from Wednesday, 3rd to Sunday, 7th October at the Birmingham NEC, offers a packed timetable including the most highly-regarded national showing and show jumping championships, international show jumping and thrilling displays.
Tickets for the show are already on sale and, apart from Saturday evening’s performance, have remained frozen at 2011 prices. A provisional timetable has also been released on the HOYS website (www.hoys.co.uk) and next year’s show promises to be another exceptional not-to-be-missed event.
Helena Pettit, Managing Director of Grandstand Media Ltd, said: “We are delighted that the Express Eventing series is continuing and hope the new team format will prove to be a great success. The Grandstand team, as always, is working hard to make this year’s Horse of the Year Show the best ever and I am confident that it will be.”
Visitors are advised to book their Horse of the Year Show tickets early to avoid disappointment, particularly as some performances sell out rapidly year on year.
