Budding film makers are being invited to send in their equestrian home movie “Thrills & Spills” footage for a chance to feature in a new and updated Thrills and Spills III DVD due to be released by Equestrian Vision later this year. Thrills & Spills 1 & 2 have proved to be among the most popular titles offered by the equestrian programme maker and there have been regular demands for a third episode.
The new programme will feature a Home Movies section for the first time and the public are being invited to submit their equestrian film clips for inclusion. A competition for the best film clip will not only secure its inclusion in the programme, but will also earn a day for two with the MBPtv crew filming at Badminton Horse trials 2012 for the winning entry. All additional film clips selected for the programme will entitle the owner to 2 free DVDs from the Equestrian Vision library, up to a maximum value of £50.
“Many people have interesting or amusing film clips and we are keen to find amateur film makers who would like to have their work included in this programme. The clips must be copyright free and it is important that no animal or person was seriously hurt during the filming. The film will be judged on quality of camera work and picture, and the relevance or hilarity of the content for the Thrills & Spills programme”, explained presenter and Director of Equestrian Vision, Jamie Hawksfield.
Footage can be submitted on DVD or video tape and should be sent to Thrills Movies, Equestrian Vision, Palmerston House, Cowfold, Horsham, West Sussex, RH13 8BP. The closing date for entries is 30 September 2011. Film should be made using a video recorder as mobile phone videos are unlikely to be of sufficiently good enough quality to be reproduced in the programme. Tapes and DVDs can be returned if submitted with an SAE. For full competition details, visit www.equestrianvision.co.uk
