Carl and Charlotte: Golden Year looks back over this dynamic duo’s triumphs in the course of the Olympic year. The show explores their unique relationship as mentor and protégé and offers insight into their feelings in the aftermath of London 2012.

Looking to the future, Carl and Charlotte discuss their current focus on preparing their horses for Olympia 2012, with rare footage of them in training.

Viewers also get a sneak peek at Carl and Charlottes’ exciting line-up of young horses, while the show asks what these horses will need to have to make the cut for Olympic games to come.

Carl and Charlotte are established favourites with Horse & Country TV viewers, following appearances in “At Home with Carl Hester”, “Getting to Greenwich”, and “Carl and Charlotte: Dressage Superstars”.

Saracen Horse Feeds is supporting the production of the show and will sponsor it on TV. Sinead O’Connor, Commercial Manager at Saracen, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting this winning team and our role, as official feed supplier and nutritional consultants to Carl and Charlotte’s horses, has contributed to their winning edge. It’s a pleasure to work with Carl and Charlotte and to see them both succeed at the highest level.”

Jonathan Rippon, Head of Programming at H&C TV, said: “Our audience appreciates any opportunity to see Carl and Charlotte at work, but we felt that their golden year in 2012 deserved a show of its own.”

“Carl and Charlotte: Golden Year” premieres on H&C TV on Thursday 17th January 2013 at 8pm.
