Caracal Equestrian will soon be a name to remember. A new British brand that sees colour and style correlate through to the equestrian market. Fashion and equestrian wear can sit side by side with the use of luxury fabrics and attention to detail.
The founder, Ailsa, grew up around horses and took to competing professionally after leaving school, but after a couple of serious accidents she decided to go and study fashion design at Manchester University and on graduating the journey of Caracal began.
Caracal was born when Ailsa saw there was a gap in the market for colour and flair. Why shouldn’t a rider look beautiful and stylish whilst still in keeping with the traditional tailored style we all know and love? The vision for Caracal was to create a product the wearer could trust and love, pieces designed with the rider in mind, but offering comfortable and breathable properties with the use of properly sourced fabrics whilst also keeping the clothing fashionable.
The beauty of Caracal is anyone can wear it. Caracal believes the relationship between horse and rider is remarkable and the love riders show towards their horse is next to none and that’s where Caracal comes in; it’s a brand that in time, will too, have that connection between the wearer and the clothing. A strong trusted relationship that people can rely on whilst looking pretty great!
Just released are a range of stock shirts with an array of prints that are fresh and vibrant. Each shirt is carefully crafted in England by either Ailsa herself or by carefully sourced machinists. The process is about keeping the clothing manufactured to a minimum that way making sure there is less wastage and also keeps the products on a ‘limited edition’ basis, making it more unique to the wearer.
There is also a small number of base layers either in cotton or a technical wicking fabric, and the Autumn/Winter range will also see some new and exciting products coming to Caracal, so stay tuned!
Prices start at £49 for the stock shirts and you can view/ buy the collection at www.caracalequestrian.com or meet Ailsa at the Caracal Stand and see the new range first hand at:
