Next week sees the ECCO FEI European Championships for Dressage, Showjumping and Para-Equestrian Dressage take place out in Herning, Denmark (Tuesday 20 – Sunday 25 August).
Britain will be represented by fourteen athletes across the three disciplines at the Championships. The squads are as follows:
Dressage: Charlotte Dujardin (Valegro), Carl Hester (Uthopia), Michael Eilberg (Half Moon Delphi) and Laura Tomlinson [nee Bechtolsheimer] (Mistral Hojris)
Showjumping: Scott Brash (Hello Sanctos), William Funnell (Billy Congo), Ben Maher (Cella), Robert Smith (Voila IV) and Michael Whitaker (Viking V)
Para-Dressage: Natasha Baker (Cabral), Ricky Balshaw (LJT Engaards Solitaire), Sophie Christiansen (Janeiro 6), Anne Dunham (LJT Lucas Normark) and Sophie Wells (Valerius)
The British equestrian teams are supported by the UK Sport Lottery funded World Class Programme.
