Alltech Showing Classes Prove Popular at Hickstead

Third placed Mr Socks at the gallop in the Small HuntersThe Showing classes at The Hickstead Derby Meeting proved popular, with the Alltech sponsored classes being hotly contested over a glorious four days of competition.  With a number of Horse of the Year Show qualifying tickets on offer across a wide range of classes, Alltech were delighted to support what is fast becoming a highlight of the showing calendar.

Jayne Ross enjoyed a particularly successful show taking four of the Alltech sponsored classes and two championships. Wins included the Large Riding Horse with Broadshard Simpicity, the Small Hunter and Small Hunter Championship, riding Hello Dolly, the Lightweight Hunter and Supreme Hunter Championship, riding Time 2 Reflect, and the Maxi Cob riding Tank Top.

Jordan Cook riding his own Fleetwater Executive, won the Small Hack before going on to be victorious in the Supreme Hack Championship in the International Arena.

The Small Riding Horse was won by Allister Hood and Dylan with the pair then going on to take the Supreme Riding Horse Championship.

In the Native classes, Paul Gale won the CHAPS (UK) Open Youngstock Qualifier, going on to also take the Supreme Coloured Horse In-Hand Championship with Showgirl, who looks to be a potential star of the future.
