Congratulations are in order for the second year in a row to the Ackworth and District Riding Club’s winning Junior Combined Training Team at the Area 4 qualifiers held at Bishop Burton. The combined training consists of a Dressage test followed by a course of show jumps. The team; Jessica Beachill, Eliza Yeardley, Libby Morrell and Grace Richardson, placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th individually which put them in the top spot for the team scorings. The girls will now go on to represent the club at the UK Festival of the Horse Riding Club Championships 1st & 2nd June at Aston Le Walls in Northamptonshire. Meanwhile the girls are looking forward to next representing the club at the Area Qualifier Showcrosse on 21st April.

Formed in 1980, Ackworth & District Riding club is a friendly, supportive and successful organisation, providing a wide range of competitive and fun equestrian and social events for its 140 strong membership.
